  • Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) is an apex body for the broadcasting sector in India. 
  • IBF was set up in September 1999 to promote and represent the interests of the television broadcasters in India. 
  • IBF members manage 450 plus channels and above 90 per cent of television viewership and revenues.
