  • Pakistan has failed to get the support of minimum 16 nations at the UNHRC (UN Human Rights Council) to move a resolution on Kashmir issue. The support was required for bringing
the issue in discussion during the September Session of UNHRC.

  • Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das has said that the Drone attacks on the world's largest oil refinery in Saudi Arabia will have only a limited impact on inflation spiked crude oil prices. He expects inflation to remain below 4 per cent in the next 12 months.
