  • The Private Security Agency Licensing Portal was launched by the Home Minister Amit Shah so that people do not fall prey to the fraudulent private security agencies. The portal will be available in all official languages within three months. The portal will also help the people cross check police verification of each and every security guard.
  • Lionel Messi and Megan Rapinoe won the FIFA Men's and Women’s Player of the Year award 2019 respectively.
  • India gifted 193 Solar Panels to 193 member states of UN which will produce 84,244 Kilo Watt hour of solar power, which equals carbon sequestered from 1000 tree seedlings grown over 10 years.
